Quilting in the Hills 2017
Quilting in the Hills 2017, Oct. 5-8, will feature workshops with Catherine Redford and Barbara Olson. The retreat will again be at Terra Sancta Retreat Center, conveniently located near Rapid City in the beautiful Black Hills. The fun begins Thursday evening, followed by two full days of classes on Friday and Saturday and a wrap-up on Sunday morning. The weekend promises lots of opportunities to learn new quilting techniques, make new friends, and relax in the pine-scented fresh air of the Black Hills.
Registration is now open for the 2017 Quilting in the Hills Retreat. There are links below for the retreat brochure and for registration forms. Online registration requires a credit/debit card OR Paypal account. The deadline for registration is September 19, 2017. There is no charge for the evening program if you have registered for a retreat workshop or SOYO. There is a $5 fee for each evening program for those not attending any workshop.
Retreat Refund Policy: Cancellations before August 1, 2017, will receive a 50% refund on workshops. Cancellation between August 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017, will receive a 25% refund on workshops. The registration fee, patterns and kits are non-refundable. There are no refunds after September 1, 2017.

Family Style rooms have two queen-sized beds and a private bath, similar to a hotel room and can accommodate up to four guests. Linens and towels are provided. If you need an ADA-accessible room, please let Terra Sancta know when you contact them. Family Style rooms are available for $80.00 per room per night for a three night stay ($240.00 total) or $90.00 per night for those staying less than three nights.
PLEASE NOTE: Alcohol and other controlled substances are prohibited at the retreat center.

PLEASE NOTE: Classrooms will not be available until the day of the workshop. You may set up 30 minutes prior to class. If you would like to sew after classroom hours, please move your machine into the SOYO rooms.

We are always looking for new instructors offering techniques that provide a variety of interest for our guild. If you would like to teach a class, please submit your application online OR download and print the form, fill it out and mail it to us. Please provide as much information as possible.
