Black Hills Shop Hop - April 6-21, 2018

Rosie's Posies is the theme and pattern. Each shop will have a part of the pattern and its own door prizes. Visiting all the shops gets you the entire pattern and puts you in the drawing for the grand prize. Participating shops are: The Sewing Center, Quilt Connection, Betty's Quiltery, The Bakery Fabrics, Dakota Quilt Company, Fabric Junction, Nuts & Bolts, HeartSong Quilts, The Strawberry Patch. Sturgis Arts Council Quilt Show - March 1 - April 30, 2018

The Sturgis Area Arts Council will sponsor a quilt show at the Sturgis Public Library during March and April. The show will be open during the library's regular hours. All area quilters are encouraged to enter with a maximum of two quilts entered per person. No quilts larger than full size will be accepted. Quilts must be taken to the library by February 28. There will be a special program, a "Bed Turning", at 2:00 p.m.on Saturday, April 14. Everyone is invited to bring a quilt that is important to you. Quilts are stacked on the bed and the owner will tell a bit of the story behind the quilt as it is removed. Refreshments will be served.

Badlands Quilters Get-Away - March 9-10, 2018

The Badlands Quilters of Wall will have a Get-Away in Wall, SD on March 9-10. BHQG member, Julie Richter, will be presenting a trunk show on Saturday evening. Details of the retreat and classes are in the brochure which can be viewed by clicking the link below.

Chadron Festival of Quilts - April 20-22, 2018

The show will be at the Assumption Arena at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chadron, NE. The theme is "Stargazing - Quilts with Star Blocks". The featured quilter is Ralene Succor of Crawford, NE. The deadline to register quilts is April 19. Forms and more information can be found at

Hill City Quilt Show - September 8-9, 2018

Save the date. This indoor/outdoor quilt show features more than 200 quilts, dinner and trunk show, and vendor demos.  It will be open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday and is located at the Hill City High School Gymnasium and along Main Street. Quilt entry deadline is August 24, 2108. Sponsored by the Hill City Arts Council
