Cancellations before July 31, 2026, will receive a 25% refund on class or SOYO fees. The registration fee is non-refundable. There are no refunds after July 31, 2026.
Meet the Instructor - Reeze Hanson
Reeze is a prolific designer, entertaining speaker, and award-winning teacher whose company, Morning Glory Designs, features an ecletic variety of whimsical florals and bold geometrics. Reeze teaches and lectures widely on one-patch quilt techniques, offering both traditional and modern methods geared toward the busy/working quilter. Her floral applique work features machine applique shortcuts and tips to make beautiful quilts in less time, without sacrificing accuracy. A sewer, quilter, and custom dressmaker for more than 50 years, and a retired college professor, Reeze has lots of experience, wisdom, and humor to share. "Winding Ways with the Accu-Quilt Die Cutter"

Learn to piece those fabulous curves using an easy, pin-free technique. We will cut Accu-Quilt winding ways blocks and learn to piece these versatile curved shapes without pins. If you thought you could not do curves, this workshop will change your mind! The class kit is $20, includes project pattern, curved piecing instructions, and complete pre-cut practice block.

"Merry Go Round Quilt"
Friday, October 9
Working with a jelly roll, you will learn how to use the 60-degree triangle ruler to make fast and accurate hexagon shaped blocks that are easily pieced in rows. No triangles to make and no set-in seams! The finished quilt is crib or throw sized. Two jelly rolls will make a nice lap sized quilt and three jelly rolls will make a great twin bed sized quilt. This is a fun and fast project. Once you try it you will want to make more using different layouts and different size strips. The book Sizzlin' Sixties by Anka's Treasures and a 60-degree triangle ruler are required for the workshop. They can be purchased from Reeze for $15 each, or $30 for both.

Reeze will demonstrate the techniques for all 3 shapes, and you will choose one to make during the workshop. You will receive a pattern for all 3 projects. Each project requires a template, and can be purchased separately for $8 each, or a pack of all three for $20.
