Are you looking for a creative use of your advertising dollars while helping out a worthy cause? The Black Hills Quilters Guild is seeking sponsors to help support our community service activities in the Rapid City area.
Your sponsorship will help us to:
Defray costs associated with our annual Quilt Show, Central States Fair exhibit and quilting retreats.
Acquire additional educational materials and offset the cost of instructors.
Maintain quilt-making supplies.
The Guild, a 501(c) (4), was established in 1977 to encourage a wider appreciation of quilting by inspiring and teaching within our community. As a result, the Guild:
Donates quilts to multiple local charities, including WAVI, Black Hills Children’s Home, Monument Health Pediatric Ward, Habitat for Humanity, Youth and Family Services, Passages, Fort Meade, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and more.
Creates and ships over 300 holiday “Boots for Troops” Christmas stockings filled with snacks, toiletries and games, to our deployed military personnel.
Provides handmade items for a silent auction at our annual Quilt Show to benefit Monument Health Hospice House. To date, over $43,000 has been donated.
