Quilt With Us

Support your local quilters!

The Black Hills Quilters Guild is a 501(c) (4) non-profit focused on education and community service, and we have nearly 300 members. Each year we make and donate about 300-400 quilts to people in need. We provide quilts to fire victims, WAVI, Black Hills Children’s Home, Monument Health pediatric ward, Habitat for Humanity, Youth and Family Services, Passages, Fort Meade, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and other worthy groups. Every year we ship over 300 holiday stockings stuffed with snacks and games to support our troops and we provide quilts to service people on the USS South Dakota. Each year our annual Quilt Show hosts a silent auction benefiting Monument Health Hospice House; as of June 2024, we have given over $46,000.  Service is at the heart of what we do.

Our Guild organizes several quilt shows during the year, including our own quilt show, as well as, a show at the Central States Fair. We provide educational opportunities related to the art of quilting. Your donations of money or quilting supplies help us to accomplish this work.

We appreciate all sponsors and donations for all of our events and educational activities. If you need more information, please Contact Us.
