Learn something new!

From time to time there has been interest among guild members to explore various ideas in quilting.  The Education Committee is continually working to see what new interests are out there.  Below is a list of the new groups that are in the process of forming.  Details of the group's focus and meeting times will be added as they become available.

The Mona Lisas (formerly Art Quilts) meets on the second Tuesday of each month.  The next meeting will be October 9 after Show and Tell at the morning gathering.  Please bring a lunch as we will be exploring various techniques over the next few months.

October:  Using Textured Natural Items

painting, stenciling, coloring, or any other ideas you ight have.  Bring your samples and share your techniques!

Decembeer:  Working with Lutadur Mixed Media Sheets
January:  Winter Owl with Roving Wool

"Road Thorugh the Black Hills" is the theme for the quilt show project.  The final details will be presented at the  October meeting.  If you would like to take part in the project, you must let the group know by the October meeting.  If you have any questions, please email the guild email ("Contact Us" on the website).

Creative Stitchers (formerly the Wool Applique' group) will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month after announcements and Show and Tell at the Tuesday morning gathering.

Modern Quilts and EQ meet on an irregular basis.  If you have any questions, please contact Carol (Go to "About Us", then "Contact Us")"
